Other than the obvious of vegitating on the pool / beach, are there things that you guys would recommend we should do? We%26#39;re going to be there for 7 days in december (staying at the Le Meridian resort).
I%26#39;ve been reading a lot about ';Richard'; because he helps organize things, but cant seem to find any info other than reading all the thanks.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

A few of us local operators have got together to promote our alternative type tours, with an emphasis on providing a special experience and care for the environment. The site is still growing, and you will see more stuff added over time. If you are interested have a look at www.phuketalternativetours.com .
I hope to add some alternative shopping type places as well, and will be seeing someone soon that sells handmade craft and products made by such organisations as the Lifehome project, for women and children with aids. So watch for this too if you are interested.
