...We are staying up in Chaing mie for three weeks in june...But takeing time out from the 17th to the 21st have booked flights back to bangkok...To pick a car up from the airport and drive down to koh chang..Will the weather been much difference at koh chang to the north.....I know its supose to be the monsoon time but have been told it getting later year by year as to ozone coditions....chris

No great difference anywhere in Thailand in June (Samui usually has very good weather though!)%26gt; Koh Changs ';official'; rainy season is June to October when the sea can be very rough indeed.You may be o.k. as its the beginning of that season though.

This year, June was a month of two halves. The first couple of weeks were good -sunshine most days. But the second half of the month was pretty grim. A lot of rain in late June %26amp; early July. I left KC and went on holiday then.
