just got from bangkok this morning , i have to tell about Tong we were so lucky to have her as tour guide , she was lovely , with a great sence of humor , and boy did she know know her stuff , we were sad to say goodbye to her if you need any more information on her let me know , she is booked up every day for the next two months , so if you are going to bangkok in the spring book her now !! prices ae also very resonable to . just remembered she also takes you to places that are normally for the locals , we would have missed so much had we not booked her .

hi tom well were do i start , we did two full days , one was to the river kwai , floating market , and the tiger temple . we could of also done elephant treking that day as well as water rafting , the monkey temple and the cober show . the first day we did the grand place , the golden temple , canel tour , the teak mansion , and jim thopsoms house famious for its silk tradition . tong also arranged lunch at two lovely resturants , extra cost of course. but provided us with all hot and cold drinks and cool flannels . she was great nothing was to much trouble . she was also very easy to be with , some times its not easy spending two full days in the company of somebody who you do not know , but with tong you will have no problems . her prices for are two full days were 7900 bht , this we felt was fantastic value . we would haved missed so much with out her .

I am glad you enjoyed your time, question for you Is the bridge and the tiger temple a very long day. what was the jorney like getting to these places? I only have one and a half days really in bangkok

it%26#39;s a very long day- we left at about 7.15am and arrived back at about 6pm (and Tong said the traffic was not so bad that day)

We spent last Thursday with Tong she picked us up at 6.30 she had a beaut Toyota Wish vehicle which was very smooth and spacious and a very cold airconditioner. She was a very safe driver. She had sun umbrellas, lots of cold water, cold face towels and a beer if you were that way inclined.

Her honesty, genuine happiness coupled with a great sense of humour make her one in a million. Her command of the English language is exceptional and she is also very knowledgable about Australia.

She took us to th Benjarim Factory where procelin pieces are made especially for the King. This is a name you will hear alot on the Tour(the Thai%26#39;s love their King)

A wood carving Factory which is actually very interesting just as the above was.

The Floating Market (you have to do this one even if it to say that you hav done it. It is very pleasant and just a special part of your holiday...so suck it up...ha ha We had a goodtime just seing how the other people survive and what their work day is like. Its just part of the day.

We then drove back into Bangkok where we asked Tong to pick a good Thai Restaurant for Lunch and for her to join us. She did and a good time was had by all.

We then went and did the Palaces.........take the camera. There would have to be about 20 or so different pics that you would take to be scrutinised later on and maybe picking out abour 8 to put in the album. Lots of fun. Lots of Thai History (very interesting history)......

we just went to th Grand Palace and Emerald Buddah that really was enough for us.

All in all I chose a day to deal with the Tours all in one go and it was perfect for us. Tong I cannot reccomemnd her enough, she is a bundle of energy, joy, extrmely honest doesnt try to sell anything at all, full of laughter, sings a bit and really cares for your wellbeing on the day. Yes this is a job but she is on of those people who live for their job and so therefore does an excellent one.
