Peach Hill Resort and Spa

Hi

I will be staying in one of the Delux rooms at the Peach hill resort and spa over Christmas and new year. I realise that is not very expensive so don%26#39;t expect 5 star quality but i%26#39;ve read some fairly unfavourable things of late and am a little worried. Things like ';it%26#39;s dirty'; - ';terrible breakfast'; ';horrible beds'; ';poor staff'; etc......

We%26#39;ve been planning this trip for so long that i don%26#39;t want to end up in a dive for our dream holiday.

Any opinions would be greatfully recieved!

Relax, and stop worrying! I stayed in a Deluxe Seaview room at the Peach Hill Resort at the end of October.

If you have a Deluxe room then I definitely don%26#39;t think you will consider that you have ended up ';in a dive';. They are (as the hotel%26#39;s website says) up the hill,and newly constructed.

Our room was tastefully redecorated and was absolutely spotless. The breakfast was adequate, maybe not ';5 star';, but certainly not ';terrible';. Nor did I find the bed ';horrible'; - quite comfortable actually. All the staff that I encountered were extremely friendly and helpful.

I agree with all of the review on this site by rovinaround - and in particular that the Deluxe rooms are much nicer than the Standard rooms, which are in an older (and rather tired looking) building, down the bottom of a steep hill, and close to the noisy street.

So relax, I%26#39;m sure you%26#39;ll enjoy your Deluxe room.

Thanks for your reassurance. I always find it difficult to get a clear idea of a place or service from reviews as people want so many different things.
