where booked in the grand chine princess hotel in bangkok can anyone tell me what it is like and are we central to everything e.g the nightlife ,clubs and bars

HI, your hotel is in Chinatown in Bangkok which has daily markets selling everything from food to clothes and loads and loads of GOLD SHOPS you are close to the Chao Phraya river which is the Bangkok Thames and within a ten minute drive to the Grand Palace where the Kings of Thailand where crowned, as for other attractions taxi fares in Bangkok are cheap but make sure they put the meter on or get them to take you to the BTS which is the overhead rail system which is cheap and airconditioned and will take you to the main shopping malls, nightlife is about a 15 to 20 min ride if we are talking about Patpong 1 and 2 , Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy though these are the more risque areas , as for your hotel I have never stayed there but I have stayed at other four star hotels in Thailand and you are treated way superior to anywhere else in the world for the money.
