Can anyone suggest a good and interesting place for lunch between the airport and our boat pier to Koh Phi Phi? Our boat is waiting for us so there is no need to hurry and catch the ferry. But don%26#39;t want to really go out of our way either.
Not looking for anything fancy...just fun!

Hi Susie.
You will be crossing from one end of the island to the other, and so passing an awful lot of restaurants. One I would recommend is GODZILLA, it is at the front of the store (and lunatic asylum) SUPERCHEAP. It is in the opposite side of the road for you, so the driver will have to do a u turn. SUPERCHEAP is well known to the Thais, so direct your driver there. Don%26#39;t let the name put you off, they have very nice food, it is not expensive and it has a nice atmosphere. If you are brave enough you can do some discount shopping in SUPERCHEAP while you are there. Lookout for the staff, they will run you down with their pallet lifters if you are not quick enough.
