Fairyland Resort

Has anyone heard of this place on Haad Rin Beach apparently inbetween Seaview and Palita Lodge.

Fairyland Resort

Yes I stayed there about a month ago, it鈥檚 on Had Rin and down at the quiet end of the beach, it is brand new and has no reception visible from the beach, they currently in the process of building a pool on the beach so there is probably a hugh pit still at the front of it.

But I recommend it as a good place we paid 1500 baht

They are quoting a rate of 3200bht over New Years eve which I think is outrageous then if it is the way you describe it.

They originally started asking for 1800baht but got them down to1500baht, i walked all the up the beach and checked out everything, if your after a little bit more out quality out of your beach hut fairyland was in the best two, but if your after the same standard old hut then this isnt it.

The only negative thing is you have to walk about 50-80 metres to the beach through where they are building the pool, but its nothing major

Fairyland is quite a bit off the beach, it looks like it will be nice when finished but if you want to spend that much there are better options imo.

Seaview bungalows especially the beachfront are lovely, good value and dont need aircon as the beachfront location and the fact that they are raised means natural aircon. (Some of their garden bungalows have aircon if you need).

Palita Lodge is under development but has fabulous new bungalows and some older more basic ones. A swimming pool (should be complete by now) But to be honest, you dont need a pool as the beach and water at Had rin is beautiful to swim in (dirty after full moon though, so be warned)
