New Bangkok Airport - Hotel Miracle Grand

Hi

Can anyone advise, when I booked flights back in July booked Miracle Grand Hotel for our early departure flight back to England not realising that we would probably be arriving and departing from the new airport. Can anyone tell me if I am assuming correctly and if so how far our Hotel Miracle Grand (99 Vibhavadi-rangsit Road,

Don Muang, Bangkok 10210) is from the airport. Can anyone advise how long it will take from hotel to airport and how much baht it is likely to cost, (I realise the hotel operated a shuttle bus but am unsure if this applies to the new airport).

Yes, the only Miracle Grand I know is by the ol Don Muang airport.

If they do a shuttle to Suvarnabhumi then take it. It sounds sensible that they should.

However to get from the old airport to the new means crossing town.

Traffic is unpredictable, and travel time could be anything from 50 minutes to 2 hours.

If you are travelling REALLY early - perhaps leaving the hotel 5AM then you should be OK, but otherwise I would be very cautious about this, maybe even change the hotel. (my opinion).

If you used a taxi for the journey I would guess that 200 Baht should be about right, depending on traffic.

Would tend to agree if possible change hotel

Taxi fare is optimistic I would suggest closer to 400 + freeway/tollway fees of I think 85 - 95 Baht

Time about right.

Never having doemthis and not knowing anyone who has this is a real guesstimate.
