Wedding in Phuket - URGENT!

Dear all,

my friends will have their civil wedding in Finland, but would like to have a nice wedding ceremony also in Phuket. We will spend the Christmas time at Kata Beach Resort.

We are altogether 11 people and just would like to have a simple, small ceremony (on the beach?) with some decoration, flowers etc and a dinner afterwards, perhaps also set on the beach.

We have contacted Kata Beach Resort several times, but for some reason they do not give us replies.

Is there some other place that would be absolutely great for our purposes and perhaps even cheaper than KBR?

Some nice, romantic place...

Wedding in Phuket - URGENT!

We happened to find outselves on the beach at Kata Noi one evening when a beach wedding took place. I think the resort right opposite the beach probably arranged it. They had a flower strewn area to walk through a flower covered arch - it was very pretty with the sun setting behind them. Kata Noi is very close to Kata. Someone on this forum could tell you the name of the resort or do a google search for Kata Noi and see what comes up.

Ted or Richard can no doubt help you out, you could also search on Yahoo Asia which is brillaint for anywhere in Asia including Thailand,( otherwise you won%26#39;t see lots of the local Thailand sites )

Blessing ceromonies can be arranged quie easily and then have a great dinner, it would be %26#39;easier%26#39; to get your hotel to sort this for you as Christmas is soon.
