spending two weeks in Kuala Lumpur in March and would like to spend our final week relaxing in Thailand. Can anyone recommend where the best places would be? We would like a lovely beach with plenty of restaurants nearby. Have been to Malaysia several times before and decided to take the Air Asia flight up to Thailand. Any help would be appreciated.Don%26#39;t want to spend too much time travelling from the airport. Looked at Phuket which seems promising.

have a look at Koh Samui, a lot smaller than Phuket but I think it%26#39;s worth it just for the airport there!

check out Nai Harn beach on south tip of Phuket.
if you want a quiet beautiful beach with few people.
only 2 resorts on the beach Sabanna and le Meridian.
I spent 3 glorious days doing nothing but swiming and laying under the unbrella. white sandy beach. warm water and some fun little waves.
