we are thinking of staying at either holiday inn or island village we know it is isolated which is ok but will want to try other bars and restauraunts at least once how easy is to get a boat back late at night and at what cost?

It is a 40 minutes boat ride each way.

We too will be staying at Holiday Inn and might want to try one night at Tonsai Bay. Can you get a boat taxi back to Holiday Inn late at night? Can you drink cocktails in the boat? Do not want to disrespect anyone but why should the party end just cause you are in a boat? We are not driving the dang thing! :-)
