Honeymoon in Thailand

We are thinking of spending our honeymoon in Thailand. We will have about 17 days in winter of next year. We will arrive in Bangkok, spend a few days there, and than its on to other cities. What would you recommend? Phuket, Koh Samui, Chiang Mai, other? Thank you for any feedback.

Honeymoon in Thailand

we have just returned from Thailand and visited Bangkok and Chiang Mai, we found them both really different but interesting and can%26#39;t wait to go back.

Bangkok has a real city feel to it but china town and the canals are somthing else. It is best to stay by the river as it is then very easy to move about.

In Chain Mai the street market is enormous and there are lots of really good eating places. it is really good for trips out to the mountains and the other local activities. The elephant sanctuary and rafting is really good fun and excellent value for money.
