may i know how much is the entrance fee to the palace?

also what are the opening hours, and days like? opened daily?

The entrance fee is 250 Baht per peson (include Vimanmek Mansion that you can use within 7 days of the issued date of ticket).

The opening hour i 8.30 am to 3.30 pm. There is a dress code to you can check out more informatin from the following post.

It is open daily accept when there is a royal ceremony taken place. The exmple of the days that will be closed is 5,6 December and 12 August. There are more days.

by the way, is there an easier way to get to the grand palace since i am staying at Mandarin hotel ( Rama IV road)?

i heard that its pretty near to grand palace isit? also the boat operators operate on a loop service? i board the boat at the same place where i alight is it?

Yes, Irene. It is a loop service but some hours during the day the boat does not stop every pier so you have to check it at the pier. But if you go in the morning before 9 am. It is ok.

I think you can get a taxi to the Grand Palace and the time should not be more than 30-45 mins and the taxi fare is not more than 150 Baht. I think it should be 70-100 Baht.

It opens everyday from 8:30AM I think, do not trust those telling you that it%26#39;s closed that particular day or it%26#39;ll open at 11:00AM or 14:00PM, we were stopped three times by these guys lying to us about opening times.
