question for gismo re patong beach hotel

Hi Gismo

have read your posting in relation to query by Slackus on Patong Beach Hotel in which you suggest ';seaview'; rooms as having best view of Patong Bay. What do the ';sunset'; rooms have a view of?

I ask as we are going to be staying there soon and am now quite curious. Thanks if you can help me

I will also be staying at the Patong Beach Hotel soon.

If you want to find out information about their rooms the hotel website is : www.see2sea.com . You can also email the hotel from this site. Their replys are very prompt. When will you be staying there? I will be there for new years and I just saw on their site that they will be having a Pirate themed gala new years eve dinner with heaps of fun entertainment planned. It looks to be a great night.

Hi Wendybushell. From memory they call the main building the sunset wing and it houses all the deluxe rooms and any floor higher than the 3rd should give you a decent view, we always stayed on the 5th floor, there are ten floors. You used to be able to go on the roof to get some great photos but last time we visited the hotel(June 06) the top floor was locked, maybe for security. I was hoping to get back this last trip last week to see how the hotel was looking but ran out of time. The Siam wing is low rise and has garden %26amp; views of the rear pool. The floors lower than the 3rd have views over the main pool and some of the ground floor rooms have access to the pool. Sue
