Watermark restaurant Phuket

Hi,

I will be traveling to Phuket in December and have had the Watermark restaurant recommeded to me.

Has anyone eaten there recently? The people who recommended it were there in 2003 so I was hoping to get a more recent perspective on the place.

Thanks,

I ate there about three weeks ago - recent enough? :-)

The food was excellent - though a bit pricey by Phuket standards. But actually the pricing was not bad considering the quality of the food. The service was just okay - not great. I love the setting - sitting looking at multi-million dollar yachts.

Know that the restaurant is in a covered/shaded area, basically outdoors. There is no airconditioning, so depending on the weather, it can be a bit hot. But, if you go in the evening probably just fine.

Quite worth a visit if you are not on a budget. Sandwiches - excellent in the B200+ range, very good apetizers in the B200-400 and up range. Entrees in the B300-800+ range depending on what you are wanting (lobster, special fish/seafood dishes?). Wine, as always in Thailand - expensive - but I can%26#39;t give you prices as I didn%26#39;t try any.

Thanks Ted,

Just found a website on it. Menu looks good and the prices are pretty cheap compared to an average night out in Sydney.!
