Stay at Sarojin

For the record, we did report the problem when we first encountered it...they sent housekeeping over at 10:30pm to rectify and then the next day I sat down with Nid and Chailali the housekeeping manager...they listened and Nid took notes. I was never contacted by any of the management...Chailali sent us flowers, no chocolates as claimed by mgmt. But since we wanted to enjoy the rest of the holiday we moved on with out stay. Just to clarify, while we wanted to talk to mgmt and owners during the cocktail reception, we needed to take the 6pm shuttle to town to meet friends for dinner...so we only had 20 minutes and didn%26#39;t want to barge in on the conversations they were engaged in with rants...I found it odd they didn%26#39;t seek us out since they were so well aware of the situation...it%26#39;s a nice property for some but obviously not for all at the prices they charge. We also contacted them when we first made the reservation stating our desire to go scuba diving...when we got there their activities person suggested a 72,000 baht chartering of their catamaran...well over the price of our 3 night stay. We passed and arranged it ourselves in town.

Perhaps our experience and the one before was a fluke...or maybe not and they will be on their toes during your upcoming stays.

Tony do not feel you have to justify you comments about how YOU felt about your stay. It is my belief as human beings if we all felt the same way about things then life would be very boring.

I once took a bit of a ribbing about disliking our stay in Riley a place that people rave about. I still offer my opinion on it when people post queries.

Happy holidays
