Railay Viewpoint Resort??

Has anybody stayed here / know what the place is like? Wondering about the quailty of the rooms and the distance from the beach.

I used to work in the dive centre below it. Nice pool area and from what i remember the rooms are nice. it takes about 10 mins to walk to Pranang Beach (the resort is on west railay, where there is no decent beach)

since you used to work around there, can i ask you to help with one more query. im now trying to decide between railay bay resort (am just worried about the quality of the standard bungalows, have read lots of differing reports and am coming with my mum), but it is on the nicer west side. Or Sunrise Resort - which by all account is a better resort but it on the East side. What would you recommend?
