Can anybody recommend some decent accom on Phi Phi Don? My husband and I are going in April and want to stay somewhere in main part of town, not 30 or 40 mins away which is what our travel agent keeps pushing.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

You will then want to stay at Tongsai Bay. Check out sawadee.com and morethailand.com for rates and check out maps as you want to be within close proximity of this Bay. Maybe check out Phi Phi Hotel or Banyan Villa cannot reccommend either to you until I have travelled there which will be in a few weeks so I can report back.

Phi Phi Hotel is just a bed in a room with a TV but the location is brilliiant. You can walk to all the restaurants and bars. I wouldn%26#39;t reccomend you stay there but if you can get something close by - go for it.
We were there October 2005 so not too much had been rebuilt since the Tsunami.
Have a look at the Thorntree forum run by lonely planet because I was reading it yesterday and somebody asked exactly the same question and was given lots of advice.
