Budget Airlines in Thailand

Juts got back form Thailand and made the mistake of booking Air Asia from Bangkok to Phuket.return. Delayed by over 3 hours going down there and was told by fellow travellers and airline staff that the later the flight the longer the probable delay. Luckily then that we were travelling at lunchtime!

We only had a 4 hour transit time in Bangkok on the journey home, so decided to book with another airline. Nok Air wouldn%26#39;t take a UK visa card for internet bookings, so we booked through a travel agent to to fly with Bangkok Airways. Good job we did as the original Air Asia flight was cancelled.

Most of the budget airlines baggage allowance is 15kgs which most people don%26#39;t know until they get to the gate.

Please book with a reputable airline even though it%26#39;s a lot more money unless you have unlimited time and patience!!!

Budget Airlines in Thailand

Having about 30 years ago paid 225 GBP for a return ticket Copenhagen to London. About 2 weeks wages in those days... I%26#39;m all for no frills airlines.... But I do agree that if you are on a tight schedule and or expect service.... they are not for you.
