I definately want to do the John Gray starlight trip but i%26#39;m also thinking of booking a Phi Phi trip with Andaman Leisure it seems to cover various locations and lunch and a visit to a monkey beach (so the kids should enjoy it) Has anyone used them and can you tell me what it was like?
Anyone used Andaman Leisure Phuket?
We just got back from 10 nights in Phuket. We did the John Gray starlight trip - we highly recommend it. We were lucky enough to see a monkey in the wild 1 metre away from our canoe.
We did our Phi Phi island trip with ALP. I was expecting that we would stop at the monkey beach and at least see monkeys, but they drive past the beach from afar and if there are no monkeys visible on the day they keep driving. So at best, you can view them from afar. We saw no monkeys on that trip. The lunch was very basic, but the scenery was great. The snorkelling is great at Khai island, but the other two sites we visited were over-crowded and devoid of wildlife. I don%26#39;t think you can avoid the crowds with any of the companies. Your kids may enjoy the beach stops and snorkelling on this trip. Have a great trip!
