Bangkok or Hong Kong

My wife and I will be taking a 5-6 day break from the kids. We are undecided between Bangkok or Hong Kong. Looking to do alot of shopping and sightseeing. Help required

Bangkok or Hong Kong

It really depends on what you want to shop for and what sightseeing you want to do.

In bangkok:

- You can visit temples

- Go to the floating market

- Have massages done everyday (very reasonably priced)

- Have seafood for dinner (cheaper than Hong Kong)

- Shop

- Play golf

In Hong Kong

- You can go to the Peak

- Disneyland

- Go to Shenzhen for shopping

- Go to Stanley Market for shopping (go by bus to enjoy the scenary)

- have yum cha everyday (till you get sick of it)

Hotels in Bangkok would be cheaper than Hong Kong

This is a very short list

maybe if you can be more specific it might be easier for options

Both are my favourite destinations for a short break, but Hong Kong hotels are too expensive during this season. It%26#39;s worth to consider Bangkok. You can shop, eat, massage %26amp; have fun at very reasonable prices in Bangkok.

My sister visited Hong Kong early October, and it was very expensive. The cost of accommodation and meals in particular. It is costing me half of what she paid, for twice as long, and I%26#39;m going in the peak season (February).

BKK is cheaper then HK in alot of aspects. If you arent worried about cost, then HK would be good too, but if $ is a problem for you, recommend you come visit the great land of bkk;)

done both and it%26#39;s no contest (bit like the first test!) Bangkok is cheaper and theres lots more to do than in HK.We%26#39;ve been to HK once and we%26#39;re doing Bangkok for the tenth time this Christmas. The other thing to consider is weather as HK has cooler winters than Bangkok which is a huge factor for us escaping UK winters.
