Hello,
I%26#39;m staying at the Phi Phi Island Village Resort in a few weeks. Has anyone been? What did you think? We%26#39;re staying in a beach front studio...hope it%26#39;s nice, it%26#39;s for our honeymoon.
What is the best way to get to the hotel? I know the hotel offers a boat from Phuket for 2000 baht. Can you also take the public ferry to the main town and then get to the hotel from there? Which way would be easier/cheaper?
Thanks!
Graham
Getting to Phi Phi Island Village Resort
Graham,
We are going to Holiday Inn (near PP Island Village Resort) in March. I was told the public Ferry is ususally , late, crowded and smelly! People getting sick over the sides and sitting next to a billion people. Not that it wouldn%26#39;t be an interesting experience, but we opted for a private Ferry. It%26#39;s faster and less smelly!
Take a stroll down to the Holiday Inn and let me know what ya think....if ya have spare time n your honeymoon! :-)
Have a blast!
Susie
Getting to Phi Phi Island Village Resort
Hi Graham,
I stayed at the Phi Phi Island Village in April this year - I%26#39;m sure you%26#39;ll have a great time.
We caught the Phi Phi Cruiser which is a ferry that took a couple of hours. A representitive of the resort boarded the boat at Tonsai Bay (main village of Phi Phi) and we were told to stay on the boat. It then continued on and stopped about 300 metres from the resort where we were transferred to a long tail boat to the resort. It does take longer than the speed boat but it is pretty cheap.
Stu
Thanks to both of you for the useful info. Can%26#39;t wait for our trip!
