hi will be staying in takiab area can anyone reccomend any bars without goingin to hua hin also anyone been to the following

Across from Kaban tamor there are some thatched eateries/bars, cheap drinks, laid back. But for rows of bars and music you need to go into Hua hin, if you go into town before sunset the local baht-bus / songthaew is only 10 baht, after that a taxi about 150.

Let%26#39;s Sea is a super restaurant, between the Hyatt and the Wora Bura, right on the waters edge, great food, nice atmosphere, sasi ahs Thai show and dinner. la mer is seafood atop Khao Takiab itself. 1929 closed.

Lots of restaurants at Hua hin Market Village, Japanese, American plus a food court. In town between Satukarn Square and the Hilton/Sofitel is great American BBQ place up top at Silom Pavillion.

Fopr cheap eats at Takiab Bay there are 2 restaurants right on the sands, Ple next to Anantasila and Baan kru just past Bluewave, we much prefer Ple, rustic and real basic, no wine/coffee, but superb seafood and you are right on the beach ( you can have a pre meal cocktail and afterwards coffee at the beach bar at the Anantasila resort which is just a few steps away.

For real cheap and good Thai food, Usa-mas is on the road between Anantasila and where Supatra is, small and local but very clean and very popular. But this is just for a cheap nice Thai meal, nothing flash.

Supatra-by-the-Sea is also close and that has great seafood, though Let%26#39;s Sea is really great in that area.
