Any suggestions? We have an early flight in the morning and want an easy commute to the airport.

Novotel Suvarnabhumi is right at the airport, Novotel Bangna ( 3 star ) is about 25 minutes away.

if you are already staying in bangkok I would not bother moving to a hotel nearer the airport at all, stay wherever you are already staing in Bangkok and just get the concierge to make sure you have a taxi early enough.

The hotels %26#39;at%26#39; and near the airport only really become of use if you are arriving into Bangkok Airport after say 11 pm and you are on a very early 6-7 am flight.

The novotel right at the airport is very nice. We had the misfortune of having to stay there as our flight was cancelled. Nice rooms, gorgeous bathrooms and a pool too. We got given free meals courtesy of the airline and the food was pretty good. It must have taken all of 3 minutes to get to the airport from there.
